Estate garden care · South County SLO

Selectively pruned. Fully documented. Never rushed.

Owner-operated garden care for homes that deserve more than a mow-and-blow crew. Every plant is hand-pruned to keep its natural form, and every visit ends with a photo report.

Why hand-pruning

Shearing makes a shell. Pruning makes a plant.

Power hedge trimmers cut every tip at once. The plant answers with a thick layer of growth on the outside and bare, shaded wood underneath, so it needs cutting again and again.

Selective hand-pruning removes whole branches at the right point instead. Light reaches the interior, the plant keeps its natural shape, and it needs far less cutting over time. SLOscapes never uses power hedge trimmers.
